Dusky Moorhens are found along the eastern coast of Australia. Dusky Moorhens live near wetlands and feed on plants, grasses, fruits, seeds and insects. When breeding, multiple females will lay eggs in the same nest and a group will share the tasks of protecting and incubating eggs. *Thank you to Mystery Member: Brett DeGregorio for help identifying this species.
