The Eastern Reef Egret is found along most of Australia's coast, but is more common in the north and northeast. This egret has two color morphs, one light and one dark. These egrets eat small fish, insects and crustaceans.
Koalas are found along the east coast of Australia and are listed as a vulnerable species by the Australian Government. Plumed Whistling-Ducks are found across northern and eastern Australia. These ducks live near wetlands during the day and feed in grasslands at night.
Magpie geese usually travel in large flocks along the northern and eastern coasts of Australia. They feed primarily on aquatic plants.
Found throughout most of Australia, the Buff-banded Rail is most common along the coast. The Buff-banded Rail is not a picky eater feeding on insects, crustaceans, fruit, seeds, refuse, and more.
