Australian freshwater crocodiles are found across Northern Australia near the coast. These crocodiles are smaller and less aggressive than Australian saltwater crocodiles. Australian freshwater crocodiles grow to three meters, half of their length made up by their tails, and feed on mostly insects and fish, though they are known to eat frogs, turtles, lizards, birds, and mammals.

Keelback snakes are non-venomous and grow to 75 cm. The name comes from the snakes' scales which are keeled, displaying a horizontal ridge along each scale. These snakes are found all along the northern coast of Australia and partway down the eastern coast. Keelback snakes feed primarily on frogs.
Yellow-spotted monitors are found throughout the area and across Northern Australia. Monitor lizards are more commonly called Goannas in Australia. (It is thought that they were named 'monitors' because of how they stand on hind legs, appearing to monitor the area.) Adult Yellow-spotted monitors reach about 140 cm in length.
Pale-headed snakes are found in Australia in Queensland and New South Wales. These snakes are named for their lightly patterned heads compared to their dark grey to black bodies. Pale-headed snakes are nocturnal and venomous.

Burton's legless lizards are found all throughout Australia. Although at first glance they appear to be snakes, Burton's legless lizards actually are lizards without legs, due to the fact that they are more closely related to geckos. (Burton's legless lizards hold characteristics of lizards such as ear holes and eye lids which snakes lack.) Burton's legless lizards feed on other lizards.
