The Centralian Blue-Tongued Skink is found throughout central and northern Australia. Blue tongues are active during the day and feed on insects, fruits, and flowers. They are the largest in the skink family (45cm head to tail) and are named for their blue tongues.

Zebra Finches are found throughout central Australia, favoring the dryer regions. These birds live in groups and feed on grass seeds and insects. Zebra Finches pair for life and both parents work together building nests and caring for young.
The Australian Ringneck is named for the distinct yellow colored ring around it's neck and feeds on seeds, insects, nectar, fruits, and flowers. The Australian Ringneck is found in large patches across Australia.
White-necked Herons are water birds found through most of Australia, except in the dry south west. White-necked Herons feed in shallow water, feasting on fish, amphibians, crustaceans, and insects.
Wallaroos are shorter than kangaroos, however they are also thicker set when compared to kangaroos. Wallaroos are found throughout most of Australia. Male Common Wallaroos can reach heights of 100-140cm and weight on average 45kg (100lbs).
The Eastern Great Egret is a common waterbird found throughout Australia. Sometimes solitary, the Eastern Great Egret is known to roost in large groups with colony numbers reaching into the hundreds or even thousands. The Eastern Great Egret is a large bird, growing between 80 to a little over 100 centimeters and feeds on an array of food types, including insects, fish, frogs, lizards, snakes, and small mammals.
The Pacific Black Duck is found all over Australia, excluding only the dry deserts. These ducks are common and often in pairs or large groups, sometimes incorporating other species. The Pacific Black Duck feeds mostly on aquatic vegetation but also includes small aquatic animals and insects in it's diet.
The Central Bearded Dragon is found in a stretch of arid land through central Australia. Bearded dragons get their name from the spikes around the underside of their head (and along their sides) which can protrude in an attempt to ward off possible predators (though these spikes are more rubbery than sharp). The Central Bearded Dragon feeds off of insects, fruits, and leaves. Bearded dragons are commonly kept as pets.
The Little Pied Cormorant is a waterbird found throughout most of Australia. It is similar to the Pied Cormorant, except for it's smaller size and lacking a colored patch on it's face. The Little Pied Cormorant feeds on aquatic animals and particularly favor crayfish.
